Preschool

Jagger had his first day of Preschool. This is his second year. We are trying a new school this year so I was a bit nervous. He did so great on the first day and LOVES school. Every day when he wakes up the first thing he asks is, "Do I get school today?" If I say no, he is bummed. If I say yes, he hops out of bed and wants to go to school right then! We take Maddox to the bus at 7:40 and as soon as we get home Jagger asks nonstop if its time to go yet. (he doesn't start till 9) Its a long hour. I have to think of lots of things to do so he keeps busy in that hour.

His cousin Wyatt is in his class and they are so funny together. I'm sure they keep Miss Melanie on her toes! They are both talkers....I mean, NON STOP talkers! It wears a gal down. But I wouldn't have it any other way, they are HILARIOUS! They should have their own reality tv show on Disney. It would be a hit for sure!

I know people say it all the time but when you have kids, Life goes sooooo fast. Seems like my babies were just born and now I'm taking them to school. Its so sad yet so intriguing. Getting to watch these lil babies grow up and learn about life is the neatest thing!!!

First Grade

Maddox!!! So excited for his first day of FIRST grade! Ahhhh!
~Sorry, I loaded the pics backwards!

Maddox is in First grade this year. So far he is loving it. He thinks its pretty awesome that he eats lunch at school and gets three rounds of recess! haha I'm glad he likes school. I don't like him being gone all day but knowing he likes being there is easier to deal with. His teacher seems really nice and I've heard such great things about her. The early mornings are kickin my booty. I'm not much of a morning person. Maddox is easily side tracked so I have to make sure to get him up early enough to let him get off coarse a few times without being late.

Jagger misses Maddox. Its a bit sad. He askes about every half hour "Is Maddox almost home?" He seems lost without his big brother. I try to keep us busy so he doesn't get too bored.

Summer Fun

We have been too busy playing all summer for me to sit down and do a post. James and I took a trip to Vegas in early June. We had a blast. Stayed at the Mandalay Bay and loved chillin by the pool(me) and sitting at the poker tables(James). We went to the Cirque Du Soliel show called Love. It was great. Especially if you are a Beatles fan...who isn't? The highlight of our trip was eating at Bobby Flay's restaurant, MESA! YUMMMM-O! We are ready to plan another Vegas trip just so we can eat there again.
The boys and I spent most of our summer at the waterslide. We absolutely LOVED it. We went about three times a week. Then in late July we started trading a waterslide day for a lake day. Good times! We are already REALLY missing it!

There are a few photos of us Mountain Biking with the Honeycutts (love them) We had a great time and want to go more often!
