Madd Madd Maj & Jag

We had some afternoon visitors today and the boys LOVED it! Grandma and Grandpa have Maddock and Major (our nephews) for the weekend so they stopped by to say Hello! All the boys had a fun time running around and checking out toys. Here are a couple pics. Jagger didn't want to be in any pictures so its his fault, not mine, that he isn't a part of this post. Sorry.

Major LOVED the horsie!

Sledding

So I've been quite the blogging slacker lately. Oops. In mid January we went sledding at the Golf Coarse with some of the family. James was out of town so he missed out but Maddox and Jagger had plenty of fun with their Uncles and Grandpa. They take such good care of our boys and of course the boys think they have the absolute coolest Uncles and Grandpa, and I agree!
Jagger wore Grandpa out with his continuous requests to ride alllll the way down to the trees then he made Grandpa pull him back up to the top, Thanks Grandpa! Maddox had a fun time on the 'disc' sled that the Spainhowers gave him for his birthday and he rode his snowboard a little bit! Its amazing how easy it is for him to ride it. I even gave the snowboard a shot. Suprisingly I made it down the hill without falling on the first try, yay me!
Enjoy the pics!

So sweet

I spent my last week playing nurse to the boys while they battled the stomach flu. I figured since they had it for 7 days and by the end I had dodged the bullet of not getting it...Not so. I woke up this morning with my very own stomach flu. The boys (all three of them) have been taking very good care of me and making sure I have everything I need. Jagger has been coming upstairs to ask me if I'm doing ok and then If I need anything he goes downstairs and brings whatever up to me.
I have been laying in bed all day and Maddox came up to watch a movie with me and give me snuggles. He asked me what I was doing in bed and I said, "Well you know how you and Jagger were sick last week? Now its my turn to be sick." He got a really concerned and sad look on his face and said, "I'm really sorry. Did I cough at you and not cover my mouth and get you sick?" AWWWW! He is so sweet! I'm telling you, this boy is the sweetest boy I know. I'm so glad he is taking care of me and helping me get well. Just like when he was sick and only wanted snuggles, he is making sure I'm getting plenty of snuggles as well! Lucky Me!

Mr Maddox is SIX!!!

Six years ago on January 6th our lives were forever changed!! From the sound of that first cry my heart filled with so many new emotions. Emotions I had no idea I was capable of hosting! I feel like those emotions never get old and only improve each day as I get to witness my son grow and learn the process of life!
Maddox is such a great son. James and I are so blessed and honored that we get to be his parents. He is compassionate, giving, patient and oh-so-entertaining!!!

Maddox, Mommy and Daddy love you to the Moon and Back!!! You are such and amazing little guy and we look forward to all the things you have to teach us in the future!

We celebrated his birthday at the Rec Center! Swimming is kind of a big deal with the Morton's hahaha! He got lots of good prezzies and keeps talking about how much fun he had at his 'swimming party'.

Introducing....The Morton's!!!

So I've finally decided to take the plunge and join the blog world! I really love looking at friends blogs and keeping up with how their lives are going! After flirting with the idea for a year or two, I've decided there is no better time than the present!
I don't scrapbook or journal but I do take lots of photos! This is a gift to my family. I plan to update about our life happenings once a week, or at least once a month then at the end of the year have the blog printed into a journal!
Stick with me while I learn the ins and outs of blogging, I might be a bit slow! But I better get on the wagon quickly because its a Bloggy-Blog world!!!
Peace!
